These are unprecedented times and it takes a special person to come forward as you have.<\/p>\n<p>Today we open our hospital; with colleagues starting their first shifts to begin caring for our first patients. Today we begin to play our part in supporting the national response to Covid-19, by providing care for patients who no longer need to be in a critical care environment.<\/p>\n<p>It has been a huge undertaking to get us to this point. It has been humbling to see the many different organisations who have worked together day and night to build this fantastic facility in just two weeks. All those who supported this effort should feel incredibly proud of what they have helped to achieve.<\/p>\n<p>Working at Nightingale NW will be challenging, but it will also be extremely rewarding; as we get to support patients to recover from Covid-19 and return home. This hospital really will help save lives.<\/p>\n<p>It is our priority to look after you during your time with us \u2013 to make sure you feel supported to do your job. Although, this is a temporary facility, it has been created with a strong set of values at its core. We want every member of our team to be supported, to feel trusted to do the right thing and for there to be real respect for the different skills, expertise and experiences we all bring.
