I hope you find these sessions helpful and informative. We will continue to hold them every week \u2013 and share the slides on the Staff Hub. Please do share any feedback on ways we can improve the session. On Monday we agreed to share with you the stakeholder briefing we had shared with organisations across the North West to inform them of the decision to go into standby. Please find a copy of this on the Staff Hub here<\/a> \u2013 I hope you find it helpful. You will also find a copy of the latest FAQs here<\/a>. We will continue to update these on the Staff Hub as new questions and information emerges. If you have questions that aren\u2019t covered, please raise them with your line manager.<\/p>\n

We are now in the process of activating our plan to put the Nightingale into standby mode from the end of June. Thank you to everyone who is supporting with this huge task. The next few weeks will no doubt be a challenging time for us all; as we continue to care for our patients and begin planning for whatever comes next for us individually. We have achieved some fantastic things at the Nightingale \u2013 building and opening a hospital in just two weeks, providing NHS standard care to over 100 patients and creating a really open and caring culture. But it has also had its challenges too \u2013 as we developed and tested new systems, having to adapt to our surroundings and having to work in really tough conditions on the wards themselves. It is important we take the time to reflect on all of this \u2013 the positives and the hard bits. That\u2019s why we are running debriefing sessions<\/strong> for all colleagues. There is more information on these below. It is really important that we all make the time to attend one \u2013 to reflect and provide feedback too.<\/p>\n

We know that our team have done so much fantastic work in the last three months. Not only stepping forward to work here at a time of need for the NHS, but going over and above for our patients and each other. We want to recognise all of that commitment and dedication \u2013 and that\u2019s why we\u2019re launching our Nightingale STAR Awards<\/strong>. From today nominations are open to all staff \u2013 including those who have already completed their time with us \u2013 and all staff groups (NHS, Interserve and G4S). Good luck![\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Invitation: Nightingale staff debrief sessions” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]All staff are invited to attend a debrief session to reflect on and learn from our experiences of building and working at NHS Nightingale Hospital North West. These sessions are open to all staff groups <\/strong>\u2013 NHS, Interserve and G4S colleagues – and you are invited to attend one of the below dates.<\/p>\n

As we prepare to go into standby, these sessions will capture your experiences and learning from your time here, share some tools to help you transition back, and help inform the future of the Nightingale should we be required to reactivate. We encourage all colleagues to make the time to attend a session before your last shift.<\/p>\n

The sessions will be held in Exchange Hall, and facilitated by the onsite OD and Wellbeing team, and if you have any queries or thoughts beforehand please contact Jackie<\/a><\/strong> or Sheni<\/a><\/strong>. There are also two additional virtual sessions \u2013 details circulated on booking.<\/p>\n
